I.T. Software specialist Visdata are pleased to announce the deal between Visma and A.F Blakemore to roll out a "Point of Sale" and "Back Office Solution" through-out the Spar and Wholesale businesses.
Visdata, the largest Visma dealer within the UK, was the catalyst for the two companies meeting and had a significant role in the tendering process.
Managing Director Matt Benfield said "It is nice to be involved in a different sector once in a while, there is a lot of new and innovative efficiency saving ideas within the competitive retail sector and we can learn from some of these and apply them to our Manufacturing solutions."
Visma are predominantly based in Norway and Sweden, whom have some of the highest salary costs in Europe. This means the software solutions they provide are focused on efficiency savings, automation and innovation.
Visdata clients have benefitted from these advances in technology for a number of years and now its great to see major UK companies coming on board to help reduce costs and drive up profits.
